As an experiment in our Digital Photography class, and as a way to create some competition, I brought in several chessboards, but not ordinary chessboards – this is a 4-way competition game, manufactured by a company called, "Chessapeake." And, rather than just setting up the boards and distracting students from their work, we are taking digital photos of every move and then animating them from within Photoshop. Here's what the first 4 moves by the players on game board #2 look like. The board seems to be moving around, as the photos are being taken by each player, after his or her move. If you want to know the process of how to create a time-lapsed animation from Adobe Photoshop CS6, here's the link to the step-by-step process I found online.
The players on this board are (clockwise from bottom): Black: Ivan Cadena, White: Usiel Bautista-rios, Blue: Chris Tivar, and Yellow(ish): Me -- hey, they were one player short!)
