Digital Photography The Proposal: define it on your blog page. Remember to be specific in your proposals with:
Who are you taking with you?
Where (precisely) are you going on campus?
How long will you be gone? (not more than 20 minutes at a time, please)
Note the conditions before you leave
Consider and note the camera settings.
Take a notepad with you, to jot down settings, etc., especially when you take multiple shots and change the settings. When you return:
Download your photos to your computer, and place them in a project folder
Edit your photos
Take screen captures of the finals for your Reflective blog
Add them to your reflective blog, noting the conditions, camera settings, etc. (note: settings are attached to the images, especially when saving them in RAW format). Include the camera you used (Rebel T5, T3, Xs) the lens used (EF-s 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 IS, etc.), tripod or hand-held.
This last bit of information is especially important, since you're shooting different scenes in different locations, with different lighting conditions -- even though the subject matter may not be changing from location to location. IMPORTANT: Use the computer to your advantage, meaning, copy and paste the information from one proposal or reflective writing to another, to save time -- no need to "reinvent the wheel" -- technology should make it simpler.
